Ana Montejo, 91, passed away peacefully on the 18th of November, 2017 at Amoedo's Assisted Living Facility in Tampa, FL, where she was well cared for. Ana was born on the 5th of April, 1926 in Havana, Cuba. They immigrated to the United States in the1960s to Ybor City. She was devoted to her family and lived a long life surrounded by their love. GAEHRING, Isabel Luisa, 90, passed away on November 25, 2017 in Tampa, FL. Isabel was born in Bayamo, Cuba to the late Jesus Olivera and Majdalena Pacheco. She was a seamstress for JC Penney for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, nine sisters and three brothers. Isabel is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank Gaehring Sr., son Frank Gaehring Jr., and sisters Dulce... COLADO, Mary Electra Xeroteres, 91, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2018.

Memorial service one less thing that I had to worry about. The service was beautiful, down to every little detail and even things I had mentioned that I didn't think you all would remember were incorporated into the decor. My husband would have absolutely loved it, and that means the world! Everyone talked about how beautiful and nice the details in the decorations were and how they were so reminded of Raymond.

SCHWEIKHART, Gertrude "Trudy" Christine, 81, passed away on January 27, 2018 in Tampa, FL. Born in Ypsilanti, MI to the late Oskar and Christine Braun, Trudy relocated to Tampa from Armada, MI in 1973. She has retired from the Briggs Division of the Jim Walter Corporation and she was of the Protestant faith. Trudy was preceded in death by her son Terry Bruder.

Carmela was born in Manicaragua, Cuba, in 1931, the daughter of Rosa Diaz del Valle and Manuel Asorey Costoya. Her father immigrated to Cuba from Spain as a young man, instilling in Carmela pride in her Galician heritage and a love for its traditional music. After losing her father at the age of seven, she was raised by her 23-year-old mother and aunts. Carmela was very close with her two brothers and two sisters, all deceased now.
Not only that they also provided me and all my guests gorgeous butterfly keepsakes representing my mom. I immediately put it on my keychain and will cherish it forever. Everyone there went above and beyond my expectations. I'm forever grateful for not only walking me through a stressful process but for also making my mom celebration of life just absolutely amazing. I know my mom loved it just as much as me and my family.

She was a very efficient and enthusiastic worker, and her help was invaluable. She participated in multiple religious and civic organizations, among them the Cuban Civic Club and the Club 15. A devout Catholic, she was active in the congregations of both St. Patrick's and St. Joseph's, serving as a Eucharistic Minister for several years. She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit, and friends were drawn to her liveliness and humor. She always saved the best of everything for everyone else. Carmela was an avid reader, gardener, cook, and knitter.
We didn't expect such a huge turnout but were very pleased how accommodating the staff was about some extra people. They were also very patient and understanding when we went over our time due to some family taking a little bit long to say goodbye. We were just really happy how much this felt like a celebration of his life, and a lot of our family/acquaintances felt the same exact way.
