The service was beautiful, down to every little detail and even things I had mentioned that I didn't think you all would remember were incorporated into the decor. Carmela was born in Manicaragua, Cuba, in 1931, the daughter of Rosa Diaz del Valle and Manuel Asorey Costoya. Her father immigrated to Cuba from Spain as a young man, instilling in Carmela pride in her Galician heritage and a love for its traditional music. After losing her father at the age of seven, she was raised by her 23-year-old mother and aunts. Carmela was very close with her two brothers and two sisters, all deceased now.

Not only that they also provided me and all my guests gorgeous butterfly keepsakes representing my mom. I immediately put it on my keychain and will cherish it forever. Everyone there went above and beyond my expectations. I'm forever grateful for not only walking me through a stressful process but for also making my mom celebration of life just absolutely amazing. I know my mom loved it just as much as me and my family.

Carmela was an avid reader, gardener, cook, and knitter.

There is a horrible accident, and the rest of the book is a flashback leading up to this moment. Twelve years previously, Dianne Robbins has a date with Alan McIntosh. She then meets his brother Tim, falls in love, and marries him.

It starts with a tragedy, when we don't know anything about the characters. I was happy at first as the scenario developed, rooting for one of the characters. Within a few pages, we go back in time and live and grow with the family. Then when we get to the tragedy a second time, I had an entirely different viewpoint and was upset about the first scenario I had loved at the beginning. Amazing how perceptions change, which of course was the point of the format, I would think. When you dig deeper and know the whole story, you might change your mind.

The siding has remained the same color since we bought our home. When we decided to use Behr Deckoverfor the porch floor color, I didn’t find a color I liked for our siding, so we used a Rustoleum Restore color and Home Depot mixed it in the Behr Deckover formula.
